featured in FreshPlazaWhat we do
DominicanSources is a Dominican Republic produce supplier: wholesale tropical fruits, vegetables and specialty crops from our producer network to buyers in the US, Europe and the Caribbean.
Tell us the product, volume and target price. We confirm availability, certifications (GlobalGAP, GRASP, FDA registration per line) and quote FOB within 5 business days.
Why buyers come to us
Sourcing from the Dominican Republic usually means cold-emailing companies from a directory and hoping for the best. Most platforms list thousands of suppliers with no verification, no pricing, and no way to know who actually delivers.
We quote from our own producer network: growers and packers we work with across the Dominican Republic. One counterparty for pricing, quality inspection at origin, and document verification before loading. You get an FOB quote, not a list of strangers.
How it works
01
Tell us the product, volume, destination and target price. Takes 2 minutes.
02
We confirm availability, certifications and packaging across our producer network and price the order. FOB quote within 5 business days.
03
Quality inspection at origin, document verification before loading, and logistics coordination with the packer. One accountable counterparty from quote to shipment.
The operation
We track DR export volumes, USDA terminal prices and reefer freight weekly, and publish the data. Your quote is priced against the live market, not a stale list.
Founded by a former Dominican trade authority advisor and international trade professor. We know the market from the inside.
Orders are inspected during packing: calibres, packaging, phytosanitary and export documentation checked before the container leaves the Dominican Republic.
Dominican exports to the US (CAFTA-DR), EU (CARIFORUM-EU EPA), and CARIFORUM benefit from preferential trade terms: competitive pricing with reduced tariff exposure.
