The Dominican Republic exports three mango varieties through a March–September window: Mingolo, Crema de Oro, and Keitt. Promango's 2026 forecast targets a 30% volume increase (FreshPlaza) over the 2024 $50M baseline (Dominican Today). Permanent 0% US duty under CAFTA-DR, 3–5 day sea freight to Miami, and three varieties no other Caribbean origin matches at the same scale.

Varieties you can source

Fresh whole tropical mangoes

Early season · specialty retail

Mingolo

Season · Mar – Jul

Aromatic criollo variety. Elongated golden-yellow fruit with firm flesh and low fiber. Best for specialty retail and premium food service that value flavor distinctiveness.

Ripe yellow mangoes

Mid season · juice + food service

Crema de Oro

Season · Mar – Aug

Large, creamy yellow fruit with low fiber and balanced sweetness. Best for juice processors and mid-tier food service — low fiber supports processing throughput and clean slicing yield.
